If you’re ready to enjoy your engagement and experience the joy of wedded bliss (not stress), you’re in the right place.

I’m Lauren, and I’m so glad you’re here! If you’ve made your way to this page, we are so honored and genuinely thrilled to be considered to help make your wedding day perfect!

Planning your dream day can be exciting (and overwhelming!), but what we are MOST excited about is what your upcoming wedding means for your future – living each day with the love of your life! We know your marriage is most important and want to give you the freedom to enter into wedded bliss focused on one another, not the pressure & stress of managing all the details. We intentionally plan and execute so your day is full of smiles, crazy dance moves and time for you to sneak an extra kiss from your new spouse (wink, wink!). We’re here to make it happen!!

Below you’ll find an explanation of our offerings and the ways we can serve you. We can’t wait to chat more and work with ya, preferably over some Chick-Fil-A sweet tea!

Execution of wedding day timeline
Problem solving throughout the day
Greeting and assisting wedding vendors during set up and throughout the event
Set up and tear down assistance with décor items, such as table numbers, place cards, menus, guest favors, guest book and signage.
Distribution of flowers to wedding party, ushers & family (handing out bouquets, pinning boutonnieres, helping with corsages, etc.)
Welcoming guests and offering direction during transitional points throughout the day
Assist wedding photographer as needed with photo list, holding bouquet, adjusting wedding dress, etc.
Attending to the wedding couple by bringing food and drink throughout the cocktail hour and reception

  • 2-3 meetings (in-person or virtual) to discuss wedding day details
  • Venue walk through 6 weeks out from wedding
  • Floor plan diagram assistance & creation
  • Act as liaison to vendors starting 30 days before the wedding day
  • Communication of final numbers to caterer & venue
  • Vendor confirmation 1-2 weeks prior to wedding day
  • Master timeline creation and distribution to all wedding vendors
  • VIP wedding party email to communicate timeline and planner’s contact information
  • Wedding rehearsal execution for 1 hour

  • Vendor recommendations, budget comparisons & booking assistance for up to 3 vendors of your choice (or substitute one vendor for a design plan for an aspect of your day)
  • 6 additional planning meetings to use throughout the planning process at your discretion to discuss details, ask questions, etc.
  • Lunch pick up and delivery to venue for wedding party on wedding day
  • Services in two of the following areas per your selection:

Coordination of hotel block
Invitation wording & recommendations
Guest hotel gift bag drop off & assembly

  • Wedding day coordination for up to 13 hours with lead planner and two wedding assistants

FAQ

Do you include setting up tables and chairs on the wedding day in any of your packages?


No, Spring Lane does not set up tables and chairs. If your venue does not handle this, Spring Lane may be able to assist for an additional fee on a case by case basis, but it is not a standard service.

Will you break down décor at the end of the wedding?


Yes! We build our timeline around being able to be there with you through the end! We know how hectic the end of the night can be after a whole day of celebrating (woo!!), so we want to make sure we are there to assist with packing up your décor and having it ready to load into your cars. If for some reason there is a concern with having enough time on your wedding day for this in your package your planner can discuss the best path forward with you.

What types of things do you do during the wedding day?


Believe it or not, your wedding day is going to be BUSY behind the scenes, so we are constantly on the move to make sure your day is running smoothly. We are there to greet your vendors, set up décor, execute your timeline, solve the inevitable pop-up problems, organize the family and wedding party, distribute florals, get you down the aisle, grab the Tide pen when someone spills something on their dress, sew the groom's button back on his jacket, bustle your wedding dress, help the photographer with family photos, bring you hors d'oeuvres during photos... see what we mean? It's a busy day!

What if I want to add more hours to my package?


Great! We are happy to discuss that with you. We can add hours to your package and the new balance will be reflected in your final payment.

I’m ready! How do I book?


That's music to our ears! Once you notify us that you are ready to sign on the dotted line, we'll get you a contract and ask you to submit a 40% deposit. Once we have those you are locked in and we can get started in accordance with your planning package.

I want to book with you! Is the payment due all at one time?


Nope! We require a 40% deposit to book, and the remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding date.


It is so hard to just pick one thing that was great about working with Spring Lane Event Planning! I would say the best part was Lauren’s communication skills. She was always on top of every communication detail. Every time I reached out, Lauren answered promptly and was there for us. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner!

And as someone who sees lots of brides and lots of weddings, I just wanna let you know that here at Spring Lane we value the small things.
When @addieeshelmanphoto was taking these headshots, I asked if we could get a few pictures of me sitting in this vintage, pink chair. My hubby graciously moved it from its place in our home so we could get this picture. And why, you may ask, does anyone care about this pink chair??
Well the answer is simple. Everyone may not. But to me, this pink chair is important because it belonged to my grandmother who went to be with Jesus years ago. And this chair, while maybe not everyone’s style, has meaning to me. Whether or not you like the pink velvety fabric or the antique wooden frame, that’s not really the point. The point is valuing family and holding onto memories for the long haul 🥰
So, friend, if you are getting married and planning your wedding, don’t forget the small things. Don’t forget to include those special details that maybe won’t matter to *everyone*, but they’ll matter to YOU. Because if it brings a smile to your face on your big day, it’s so worth it ❤️

Here’s a few more things to avoid so you don’t make these common mistakes!
✨Not taking a bathroom break BEFORE getting into your dress.
✨Not breaking in your shoes during the month before your wedding.
✨Not drinking enough water throughout the day.
✨Having wedding party and family not know where to be, when because you forgot to send them the info.
✨Not having another point of contact throughout your wedding day who can answer vendor questions on your behalf.
✨Not cleaning out the bridal and groom suites before the wedding (…so someone has to rush to grab your overnight bag during your grand exit)

The whole wedding planning process can be crazyyy and overwhelming. And when it comes to the final couple of months, it’s super important to wrap up those final details so everything is perfect and ready for your big day.
So how do we help our couples with that?? One way is that all of our packages include a venue walk through. Here’s what we do during that and why that matters to you 👇🏼
👏🏼 We walk you through every step of the day. Where will you be getting ready? Where’s the groom’s suite and the places the guys can (and can’t!) be so you stay hidden if needed? Where exactly will your guests park, walk, and move throughout the day? We talk through all of these and more so there aren’t any surprises on the flow of your day.
👏🏼 Need help with creating a floor plan that makes sense? No problem! We will discuss all the tables, chairs, rentals, etc. so your layout uses the space effectively.
👏🏼 We think about your vendors! Whether it’s where they should unload or where they need to be set up, we make sure we know what to communicate with your vendor team to eliminate questions.
👏🏼 We remember that every venue is different!! If there are any final questions about when you can drop off decor, what time everyone has to be off property at the end of night, etc. we will talk through those with your vendor staff. It’s important to plan your day according to the requirements of your venue and knowing those in advance will be a life saver!

👉🏼 Find the friends who will be with ya to the end! They are the ones fully invested in you & your marriage for the long haul!!
👉🏼Ain’t nobody got time for drama! If there’s someone you know who may cause a bit of drama, perhaps it’d be better to involve them in your wedding in a different way. You can always ask them to do a reading during your ceremony, sing or act as a greeter. It helps them know they matter and spares you the possible stress 😅
👉🏼Little known fact — wedding parties are expensive! Think about it. If you are paying for dresses, hair, makeup, transportation and/or accommodations, this will quickly take over a chunk of your budget. Lots of people ask their ladies to cover some of these costs, but traditionally it’s polite to at least cover some of these expenses.
👉🏼Does having a balance between the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen matter too you?? If so, you may want to adjust the number of bridesmaids accordingly.
