This fall may have been busy, but watching Olivia and Christian say “I do” (again) made time slow down in that moment. While the couple tied the knot last year during COVID, they were finally able to have the celebration they’d been hoping for with family and friends. And it was perfect!
This couple tied the knot at an intimate barn venue in northern MD, surrounded by friends and family who couldn’t attend their vows they made last year. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we worked to create a timeline where Olivia would have plenty of time with her sister, best friend and mom in the morning to get ready at a local hotel. When she finally arrived at the barn venue, she was glowing! Olivia and Christian decided to do a first look, which we always love. Their venue had a silo, which made for some amazing photos as they met on the stairs.
One of the best things we’ve noticed about couples who are able to have a delayed wedding celebration is that on their wedding celebration day they are able to fully relax and enjoy the experience – no nerves, cold feet or anxious thoughts since they are already married. If you ask us, this shows through in their pictures as they sweetly embrace.
Hands down, our favorite part of the evening was when the couple enjoyed a last dance, just the two of them, after all their guests had left the reception. We HIGHLY recommend adding this sweet moment to your plan for your day. It was the most romantic, tender moment and we’ll admit we were tearing up when we peaked through the window 🙂
Congrats, Olivia and Christian! We loved being a part of your day and are so excited for the many days of a wedded bliss ahead!!
